AODA customer service: Accessibility for Ontarian with Disabilities Act (AODA). Integrated accessibility AODA: Continuing the AODA requirements, this session will look at areas such as Employment, communication and transportation. Learn what you need to be doing to ensure compliance with this Act. WHMIS, with GHS: Changes are coming to the WHMIS legislation. This session will revisit the key principals as well as outline the changes that are coming. This includes the changes based on the Global Harmonized System (GHS) Legislative Update: Staying on top of all the legislative changes can be challenging, we will review and update you on key legislation. This will include:
Diversity: Diversity issues are related to race, gender, age, disabilities, religion, job title, physical appearance, sexual orientation, nationality, multi-culture, competency, training, experience, and personal habits. What is going on in your workplace and what are effective ways to handle the diversity. Conflict Management: Differing opinions create conflict, how you deal with it and others will impact the resolution of the situation. Learn the different styles of conflict management and when it is most advantageous to approach with a different style.
